1. Do I have to identify myself?

Yay! In order to promote safe scrap trade and Swedish legislation, you must identify yourself and certify that you are both the owner of what you sell and that it originated legally. This is done easily by signature with bank ID.

2. Can I sell scrap that I picked up from work?

You can sell scrap that you received from your job if you can attest that this is the case. We never buy goods or scrap metal unless we can ascertain the origin or how it originated. In our systems, warning flags will always ring if you show up with 500 kilos of mixed cable that you want to sell as a private individual. Our first step is always to make sure we know what we are buying, from whom we are buying it and who is the rightful owner. Therefore, make sure you have the documentation ready.

3. Is there a minimum weight?

Yes. But it depends on exactly what you want to sell and recycle. Precious metals and scrap of higher value per kg you can sell even if you have a lower weight. For example, you can sell CU-millberry from 25kg. Then you can also send scrap freight through us. But iron scrap or mixed scrap must exceed 500-2000kg. Always double check with us if in doubt.
