Submission and sale of scrap at a physical facility is made to one of our partner facilities, agents or directly to a scrotify facility. We recommend our customers to use our pick-up service. 95% of our customers book pickup precisely because we have such low transport deductibles.
In the Skrotify portal you can choose between receiving the payment within 30 days or immediately as soon as the goods arrive at one of our facilities. In order for you to get direct payment approved, it is necessary that the scrap is well sorted and does not require further analysis.
Skrotify has agreements with all major logistics companies and ensures that the goods end up at a partner facility as close as possible. This results in very low deductions/costs. Usually the deduction is much lower than if you had transported it yourself.
By law, we are obliged to conduct a customer knowledge check on those we do business with. The checks are carried out to counter the risk of money laundering, illegal transactions and terrorist financing.
Being a contracted partner may mean that you are part of one of our partner programs. For example, your business may be registered as an agent/receiver of scrap. You can connect your existing scrap business or be a provider of services we use and offer to our customers.
A toll transport is recorded if a pick-up has not been possible. The cause and obligation to reimburse the costs incurred in connection with a boom transport may lie both to you as a customer and to us as a supplier. The cost is accrued to a customer if the customer is the contributing factor to the inability to carry out the transport.
The requirement that you as a seller must state the origin of the goods is both statutory and contributes to traceability in our environmental documentation.
Anyone who is the rightful owner of the goods and who meets our requirements for customer knowledge and who is 18 years of age or a legally approved person/company.
